Watch the Throne
Best song of life right now
Oooooh
I love you so
But why I love you
I’ll never know
You ripped out my heart and you stepped on it
I picked up the pieces, Before you swept on it
Wasn’t I a good king?
(Maybe too much of a good thing, huh?)
Didn’t I spoil you?, Me or the money, what you loyal to?
(Huh, I gave you my loyalty)
Made you Royalty and royalties
(Took care of these niggas lawyer fees)
And this is how ni**as rewardin me
(Damn)

Vacation #1
Just arrived home from vacation this weekend.
Had a great time, was very peaceful and gave me time to catch up on some still life drawings as well as some photography. I haven't been to this place since 2002, so it was nice to re-visit my grandfathers chalet out in Maki. Overall I met some interesting folks on the reserve; completely different lifestyle out there, sometimes I wonder how they manage with such little necessities. Anyway they were great company, and surprisingly enough one of the girls on the reserve was a photographer, I couldn't help but think of the novel "Medicine River" by Thomas King. Other then that I learned some history along the way, went fishing, played cards, sat around a fire and reminisced the times shared with my grandfather
Felt nice being away from technology and work, was definitely relaxing! If I had the choice I would do it more often, it's good to get away sometimes. My only complaint was the 7-8hr drive going up and coming home. Did a lot of sleeping, and listened to a lot of radio haha. Half way home I overheard this song on the radio and funny enough it reminded me of someone I knew and this moment we shared. Felt nice to clear my mind yet reminisce on the good times, great weekend!

Online Portfolio
Every now and then I get a moment to work on some personal projects and currently I'm in the process of updating a new online portfolio. I'm happy to say that I received an invite from Cargo Collective to be part of their portfolio network. They generally don't send personal invites to just anyone, so it was quite nice to finally have an account with them.
Other then that I have a few other projects happening right now, met some new clientele that are highly involved in the street wear and art community. Hoping to work with them on a friend basis, and keep the connection strong. So far I've been keeping busy, and I'm truly happy to see the progress that I've made since December 2010.
Anyway I'd love to say more, but I think it might be best to show you what I've been working on as oppose to just writing about it. Eventually by mid July I'll be able to post some new stuff and my new online portfolio!

Non-Art Related Post
My blog is going to hate me for this, but here it goes.
Basically, the only thought going through my mind at this moment is that some people deserve chances, and others don't. It's up to you to see through the bullshit, and let's just say some bullshit is thicker then others.
Note for next time: Fuck giving chances.

Street Art?

So I was cleaning up my studio last night and realized how bland my white walls were looking. Figured I'd wheat paste some drawings I've done to make the room seem more relevant to my work.
Anyway here's 2 pastes I've put up so far! The first one is 9 ft tall and 5 ft wide, the 2nd one is about 4ft - 5ft all around. Can't wait to add more!

TB1 concepts

Just posting some old work I did a couple months ago. Anyway, played around with some different lettering positions, textures, colors for the logo I made for TB1.
The client wanted the same look in the logo, however something a bit more simple and iconic. The logo was meant to be used for twitter, and his track covers on iTunes. I'll post the final version soon, even though you can spot it on his website.
It's a Coldplay kind of day
Been listening to their album all day, I wish I could see them in concert again. Anyway I'd post all their videos if I could, but some reason this one feels right.
