Judyna x Nova Collab

Thought I'd share some photos of what I did tonight. Was fun collabing with Judyna, she supplied the artwork and I got to print them :)

The design was meant for a two colour print, did a white base; flashed and added yellow. Unfortunately I was kinda busy to take step by step photos due to the fact that waterbase inks dry quickly (especially in the screen - major suckage!) but next time for sure!

Hope to do more with her next time! Anyways enjoy the pics, don't mind the clutter!

Cintiq Wacom + Sketches

Ok, so remember how I fixed my previous tablet?

Well now I have two.

Went to L.L.Lozeau yesterday on St-Hubert just looking for some Epson equipment and spotted the Cintiq Wacom. I just had to pick it up, it had my name all over it. I love the whole double monitor option, I've been sketching on this thing all day and let me say this, it makes drawing on the comp so much easier. I save myself about an hour (just on lineart) with this thing. I'm practically in love!

So here's a sketch I did based off Nick's photos. Thought I'd try out some IX crew member illustrations. Let me know what you think! Coloured version coming soon.

Tablet Working

I'm so happy, my tablet finally works again! It's been forever since I've used it and I'm fairly rusty, but I'll get the hang of it sometime soon. Just need to practice; and practice I did. Here's a rough coloured sketch of Lisa, Elektrek's co-owner and manager.

She sorta looks a little beaten up but what the hell, makes her look bad ass :)

Client Check List

Just received a new client requesting some graphics. I need a check list to follow so basically thats what this post will be all about. Trying to organize myself for Summer, don't want to miss out on anyone! Most work will be sponsored under Elektrek Clothing.

Designing for Dragonette

I'm excited to work on some new designs. Been talking to the manager of Dragonette and preparing to design some new merch for the band. I've sketched out all kinds of idea's mainly inspired by Martina Sobara. They're looking forward to the new designs, hopefully all will go well. On a side note I'm diggin their new "Fixin To Thrill" video

Studio Equipment

I'm soooo happy! Today I stopped by Cosmex Graphics in St-Laurent and got a damn good deal on a 5 colour press, flash dryer, wash booth and chemical solutions. The guy also threw in 10 free screens and some plastisol inks.

My studio should be all set up by Tuesday and I can get started on printing the Summer collection. The tee's will be available at the next Indecent Xposure event sometime in August. Looking forward to it, other then that here's a Black Eyed Peas video to express my joy. Plus the song has been stuck in my head for the past week.
