I just spent 2hrs watching a documentary about The Devil and Daniel Johnston, and I'm amazed at how amazing he was. This guy showed no limit when it came to his creative side, he made music based on anything and everything. My favorite scene is when he's back home and on his meds, and someone asks him if he has trouble writing music due to the effects of medication. He answered yes, and then proceeded to sing a song based on how he couldn't make music while on meds. Like common, you have to love how effortless his talent is.
So I came to the conclusion that Daniel Johnston deserves a spot on my list of awesomeness. He really is awesome, especially for someone who's basically lived half of his entire life in a mental hospital. I almost feel incompetent compared to him, creative wise that is. Plus I admire his craziness.
